All right, I won’t make you wait for the news…I SANG ON STREAM!! The stream has been asking since forever for me to sing, and I haven’t done it thus far because I have been super petrified, and hadn’t practiced singing into the mic. We went over to the band room this week so I could practice doing it in the microphone and be less afraid of my own voice, so tonight was the night!!

But I did it!! I was so scared and wanted to chicken out, but nope! I sang! I just did karaoke to Lorde – Tennis Courts. We highlighted it so if you want to watch just the snippet of me singing you can find it right here on YouTube. 😀 Randy and Lucas also did karaoke, it was a ton of fun! P.S. the shout-out to Mia and Sophie are my little sisters, my mom let them stay up late so they could watch me sing. 🙂
All in all we had a great stream tonight, and everyone was really nice about my singing! No negative comments at all which made me feel a lot better about it. 🙂 We also had a stream raid (where all the chat watching a different streamer comes to the same channel, in this case ours!) which was super cool. There were over 100 people and my laptop froze from everyone coming in so quickly and following us. It was pretty awesome.

hi Lydia 🙂 Your singing was great, bet your little sisters loved it 🙂 I can’t believe it’s so long since I was last here, guess I really have been slacking lately – i arrived hours ago and got hooked into your twitch tv link, side-tracked a bit with Bob Ross and The Joy of Painting just after and then back into your Your Tube vids – really enjoyed it. ‘Ambience’ surprised me for not being very ambient 😉 So, hopefully your next live streaming I’ll be online to catch your live performance, looks like good fun and it’s quite amazing 🙂

I’m so happy you were able to watch and listen to some of our performances! 😀 Haha, yeah Ambience isn’t really all that ambient, but somehow the title seemed to fit anyway. 😉 I would be honored to have you at our next stream!! you’re welcome and it’s awesome that you (the band) stream your performance/practise live. i remember you mentioning it in a post ages ago but i was on a dinosaur machine then – I’ve been slow to remember that I can watch video stuff now 🙂

I’m glad you’re able to watch videos now! Getting better machines is always great. 🙂 I’m glad we do it too. We were all a little nervous at first, and how people would react in real-time, but it’s been going really well and we’ve been really enjoying ourselves. 🙂

That is awesome!! I tried so hard to catch you live, but I must’ve been too late. Oh, come to think of it, I was… 8:30 central is 6:30 pacific… dang. I’ll keep trying! Good job with your singing!! That is so cool!!

Thank you!! I didn’t realize you were trying to catch us live, thank you so much!! Even though it was missed, that means a lot to me! Yes, we usually start anywhere from 8:30 to 9 pm so 6:30 to 7 your time I believe..someday we’ll sync up! 🙂
