This is the top secret, stealth mode activated, intriguing, mysterious, Special Agent Nelson. And for the next few days, you get the privilege of caring for him! His next mission is in the vicinity, and therefore I’ve decided to let him stay for a few days while he accomplishes what is needed.
While he’s here, he’ll need lots of room to work. Please let him come out from time to time to get comfortable or snoop around while looking for clues. He likes to work alone, so if anyone else is out, they may want to go to their room while he prowls. Exercising his mind and body are both great ways to keep him working toward his goal. I’ve included a laser pointer, feather toy, and catnip should you need help in entertaining him.
With all this hard work, he’s going to be hungry! I let him eat some wet food (¼ of a can breakfast, lunch, and dinner) as well as having his dry food out all day. Now he has this problem of sometimes overeating, or else his stomach just gets upset from all the excitement and he pukes. Please don’t fret, this is normal and doesn’t need the doctor, just to be cleaned up! (apologies ahead of time if this should happen!)
His hard work with the agency needs him focused and ready no matter what nor when. Because of this, he has a special medication he takes at night. If stuck in a pill pocket or treat, he should eat it right down! After ensuring he’s eaten the pill, please give him 5ish treats that are provided. He’ll be extremely thankful!
Throughout his endeavors, he may need to send me some intel. This can easily be done by sending me pictures of him throughout his stay. There is no such thing as too many pictures!! While it may seem like he’s just sleeping, or hiding from the camera (which he will do) and you aren’t sure if you should take and send a picture, do it! You may not see anything, but I bet I’ll find the hidden message. He’s the special agent, but sometimes I give a consult.
Thank you for taking care of my boy while I’m gone, I greatly appreciate it! He may not be cuddly nor want touched, but he’ll love to play and eat and be out for a bit each day! If he acts up, I’m sure his mission is just getting a little out of hand, don’t take it personally!
Thanks again,
Lydia
This week I decided to write out the instructions I’m leaving for my cat while he stays in boarding over the weekend. I’ll be going up to Iowa, and I want him to be able to get a break from his brothers! I know it’s not quite a story, but I wanted to leave the instructions in a fun way and thought this might do the trick!
Please check out S.R. Anand (With whom I’m doing these posts with!)’s blog, Yonder Worlds!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
