I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and if you don’t celebrate Christmas, I hope you still had an absolutely wonderful day!! I spent mine working in the morning and afternoon, watching Christmas Vacation, and just hanging out with all my boys! (Rocky, Nelson, Shikari, and Lucas 🙂 ) It was a pretty good Christmas I would say!
Tonight we’re going to have a special Christmas Lunar Tides stream on Twitch. We have lights set up and everything! I’ll have to post some pictures of it. 🙂
Rocky is doing wonderfully! Still no accidents in the house, and he’s getting along with Shikari really well. Nelson still doesn’t like him, of course, but he’ll at least walk around on the floor when Rocky’s out of his kennel. We think Rocky was probably abused at his last home, because he acts like he’s afraid sometimes or like he’s in trouble when he isn’t. It’ll probably take some time, but he’ll learn that we love him and he’s in a safe and good home now!
Other than that he’s a giant baby and does love being here. He’s always sitting on my lap and trying to lick me to death! 🙂 He’s adorable though, and I’m so happy we were able to rescue him and make him a part of our lives!
I’m working all this coming week as well, I don’t have a day off until next weekend, so I’m already and definitely will be exhausted by Saturday! I’m looking forward to being able to relax next weekend. I’ve been enjoying working though, it doesn’t even feel like work most of the time! It’ll be really nice once I’m solely in the groom room though.
We don’t have big plans for New Years, I think we’ll probably just end up staying home and watching movies, which sounds great to me!! What are your plans for bringing in the New Year? Anything big, or just a night at home like us?

We are staying in. Hopefully we can binge watch some movies or TV shows on Netflix. Any suggestions? We haven’t binge watched anything in awhile so I am a little excited for having a lazy quiet day. Happy New Year to you, Lucas and all of your furry friends! All the best to all of you!

Thank you!!! That sounds like a great time, I wish I would have gotten to this sooner, I watch a lot of stuff on Netflix! haha. What did you end up watching? If you have time to watch more I can probably give you some suggestions, what genres do you like?

We stared through all of the options for like an hour! So indecisive!! I pretty much like anything, hubby likes anything with action, history or westerns. Any and all suggestions welcome 😊

Haha, that’s how Lucas and I always are too! Well, there’s the Making a Murderer documentary, and that was really interesting! They have some Netflix originals, Orange is the New Black, Daredevil, and Jessica Jones are all really good. The latter two are based on the comic books. Short Term 12 was a really good movie on there, as well as You’re Not You. The Killing was a great series too. I don’t know if you like watching series at all, we do obviously. haha! Those are off the top of my head, I’ll keep trying to think of some more though. 😉

It’s so sad to think that adorable little pup was ever abused, ugh. Sometimes I really lose faith in our own kind, but then I know there are just as many good people as bad. So glad Rocky found you. Hope you had a good session tonight! Sounds like the perfect New Year’s Eve to me! James and I will be karaoke-ing at home… we always bring in the New Year that way, haha! Have a great week!!

Oooh, that sounds like a ton of fun!! What a great way to bring in the New Year! I might have to add that to how we bring it in too. 😉 hehe. I know, I completely agree with you. I lose a lot of faith in humans when I see abused animals or hear the stories or see them come into the clinic. But then I see all of us there trying to make them feel better and those who are also adopting them and trying to help and it does make me feel better about things. If only the good would take over all the bad!! I hope you have a great week too! 🙂

G’day Lydia! Good to hear from you – I had a quiet Christmas! Had lunch o Christmas Day with my mother’s half-brother and his family (as soon as we arrived at their place, I realised I knew them as they used to run an Australia Post outlet in our home town – picked it up by the number plates on their Mitsubishi 380 GT-L, a Australian built large car that is no longer made) Tomorrow, we are off to spend time with my niece/goddaughter and her family… as for New Year’s, I am off to a massive fireworks event in Dubbo! Cannot wait as I have to meet up with a friend who is performing as part of the live music there
